I just got a copy of the newly published book Velo : Bicycle Culture and Design. Some of my photographs from the 2009 North American Cyclo Courier Championships were selected to be published.
Double clicking on the above video will open a new window for better viewing.
Right after the photoshoot shoot I did a blog post on the ifblog describing the event in greater detail and with way more images. HERE.

Robert Graves Evans :: Bomber Pilot WWII
I never knew him and my Papa didn't know him, but I think about him every Memorial Day.
He was shot down over Germany towards the end of the war.
I love the real Bomber Jacket and goggles.
With Granma Dot before he left.
This was a picture of him when he was a little younger.
I snagged all of these shots of pictures out of my Dads photo album during a visit in 2006.

New :: Awesome :: Camera App
Got the Hipsatamatic app for my iTelephone the other day.
Real fun. You can "change" your "lense" and your "film". I know it isn't really changing any of these things but the effects are pretty rad.
The iTelephone also does all sorts of crazy things anytime there is movement... such as the extra long fingers (above).
Anyway, it's fun and easily posts the pictures to any of your social media outlets.

A :: LONG :: Walk Around the Prudential
Mission: A long walk.
Couple that with a new camera and a fascination of photographing the Prudential Building and you get a bunch of pictures taken of the iconic building from every visible angle. Here are some highlights from our trek:
View from Columbus Ave.
From the Victory Gardens in the Fens.
Boston side of Mass ave bridge.
Cambridge side of Mass ave. bridge.
The yacht club on Memorial Drive.
Just before the Salt and Pepper bridge.
Just after the Salt and Pepper bridge.
From the above picture to the one below the Prudential disappears behind Beacon Hill and downtown.... not to return until we hit Southie.
From the Harbor Walk along the channel in Fort Point.
Over the bridge and into Boston's South End.
From Shawmut Ave. in the South End.
Epic walk: 12 miles.
Pictures taken: 235.
More to come.
