Robert Graves Evans :: Bomber Pilot WWII

I never knew him and my Papa didn't know him, but I think about him every Memorial Day.

He was shot down over Germany towards the end of the war.

I love the real Bomber Jacket and goggles.

With Granma Dot before he left.

This was a picture of him when he was a little younger.

I snagged all of these shots of pictures out of my Dads photo album during a visit in 2006.

My Granpa with my Granma Dot.

Tyler, My name is Robert xxxx and I was named after your Grandfather. He was a good friend of my father, Urho xxxx. They went to aircraft school together in Cheyenne, WY and hunted elk together. I have a charcoal drawing of a sheephearder's wagon hanging on the wall of my living room, drawn by your grandfather. I'd like to contact you, but not sure how. I don't want my e mail address posted. I'll check back on occasion. Hope to hear from you.
